This year 2016, our company has received numerous inquiries regarding our EtherCAT motion control products.
Yesterday, Toyota Motor Corporation globally announced at Hannover Messe 2016 during the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) press briefing that EtherCAT has been selected as its Industrial Ethernet Technology of choice, and will base its new factories on EtherCAT around the world.
This is stirring up a great conversation within our manufacturing industry.

We are EtherCAT Experts. Ask us anything.
Soft Servo Systems has developed our original EtherCAT protocol stack since 2008, and built successful track record around the world with our high-performance advanced motion controllers.
With the above news, it is very likely that EtherCAT will spread greatly across Japan, as this year we saw a significant increase in adoption of this fast, vendor-independent, Ethernet-based realtime open network by our customers. There is renewed focus within the manufacturing industry for IoT and Industry 4.0, and like Toyota, the whole industry will be seeking ways to shift its current ways.
If you are still wondering about EtherCAT, and/or would like more information regarding EtherCAT and how it could improve your business, please do not hesitate to ask us. We, the EtherCAT experts, will love to answer all of your questions, such as the following:
- What is EtherCAT?
- We want to use EtherCAT Master motion controller/Robot controller, but how?
- How can we implement EtherCAT in our factory/machines?
